He was predeceased by: his father Brooks; his great-grandparent Leon "Bud" Tobey; his great-uncle Les Proctor; and his uncle Kyle Schwarz. He is survived by: his parent Caitlyn Downing (Griem); his brother Brayden Downing; his grandparents, Jamie, Jennifer Griem, Dave, Beth Downing, Tyler and Kim Donohoe; and his aunts and uncles, Zach Downing (Emily), Noah Downing, Tobey Griem, Taylor Hansen (Brett), Paige Griem, Sam Battin (Jason) and Samantha Dishinger (Grant).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory Chapel (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807).
