Donald Drake Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Drake of Wilton, Iowa, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Drake and Annie Drake (Plows); his siblings, Jim Drake, Mary Jo Waddle and Teri Sue Matheny; and his brothers-in-law, Leland Tillman and Dan Correll.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Glasgo; his sons, Michael Drake (Barbara) of Solon, Kevin Drake (Shelley) of Wilton and Reggie Drake (Melanie) of Wilton; his grandchildren, Ashley Drake, Valerie Drake, Dillon Drake, Emerson Drake, Ethan Drake, Javin Drake (Kelsey), Kortney Drake, Kelsey Drake and Kinsey Drake; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Ayden; his siblings, Gerry Drake (Alice), Pat Tillman and Sandra Correll; and his brother-in-law Dave Matheny.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Parkview Church - Central Campus (15 Foster Rd, Iowa City, IA 52245). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (2780 104th St, Wilton, IA 52778).
Memorials may be made to Parkview Church, Wilton First Responders, or the Wilton Athletic Boosters.
