He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sawvell, and Geneva Sawvell, Sr. (Meskimen); his sister Christine Fread; and his siblings-in-law, Harold "Buck" Wacker and Mary Ann Sawvell.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Sawvell (Amy) of O'Fallon, Nathan Sawvell of Wilton and Casey Sawvell of Wilton; his grandchildren, Macy, Colby, Caleb, Kelsey and Quincy; and his siblings, Jeanine Wacker of Wilton, Vicki Sneddon (Tom) of Wilton, Sue Bradley (Omar) of Wilton, Dean Sawvell of Clarksville and Stan Sawvell (Tami) of Wilton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bentley Funeral Home (302 W 5th St, Wilton, IA 52778). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (213 W 5th St, Wilton, IA 52778).
