She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Wacker and Etha Wacker (Doran); her husband Jack VanAtta; her grandson Jarod Allgood; her sisters, Maureen Peeks and Anita Wyatt; Harold Wacker, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Laughlin of Rockford, Rebeckah Allgood of Wilton, Christine Norenberg (George) of Iowa City and William VanAtta (Sandy) of Wilton; her brother Steve Wacker (Betty); and her sister-in-law Jeanine Wacker. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United Methodist Church of Wilton or Iowa City Hospice.
