It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Paul Alvarez of Wilton, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Ann Alvarez (Thornblade). He is survived by: his father Bivian John (Debra); his wife Donna Jean Ince of Wilton; his children, Lance Alvarez of Wilton and Myranda Alvarez-Peden (Nate); his grandchildren, Adrais, Aiden, Aynslea, Addison, Asher, Jaxon, Emilia, Layla and Nathan; and his siblings, James Alvarez of Wilton, Joanne Tilley (Mark) of Dayton, Tonya Nichol of Aledo, Dawn Voss (Rodney) of Edgewood and Sonny Alvarez (Amy) of Walcott.
Memorials may be directed to the Muskies Baseball Travel League in memory of Jon.
