She is survived by: her husband William Carter; her children, Carolyn Gwi (Ezekiel) of St. Paul and Alex Carter (Kylie Kolz) of Des Moines, Iowa; her grandchildren, Gideon and Nico Gwi; her brother Glenn Carlson (Leslie) of Isanti, Minnesota; her aunt Yvonne Conroy; and her cousins, Julie Fayler (Van), Candace Penn (Mathew), Clarence Broecker III and Bonnie Nielsen (Steven).
