He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rochholz and Ruth Rochholz (Schroeder); his sister Janet Meneke; and his nephew Dave Meneke. He is survived by: his wife Barb; his daughters, Amy Freeborn (David) of Dacula and Carrie Arlen (Robert) of Wilton; his grandchildren, Katie Freeborn, Ashley Hood (Jackson), Nathan Freeborn, Ewan Arlen and Rhys Arlen; his great grandchildren, Elias, Penelope, Remy, Amelia, Banks, Baker and Bohdi; and his sister Joanne Ray of Davenport.

Memorials may be made to the Wilton Ambulance or Wilton Fire Department in his memory.
