It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita McNamara of Wilton, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethan Allen and Virginia Allen (Lampson); and her son Eric McNamara. She is survived by: her husband Bob McNamara; her children, Chris McNamara (Jill) of West Liberty, Ashleigh Taylor (Alex) of Wilton, Chelsea McNamara of Wilton and Adam McNamara of Wilton; her granddaughters, Maggie, Norah, Novella and Sydney; and her niece Melissa Brockert of Wilton.
In leiu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wilton Community School Food Pantry.
