He is survived by : his daughter Jamie Snook (Howard) of Winfield; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Jo Snook and Janalyn Hope Snook; his sister Susan Johnson (Jerry) of Cedar Rapids; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Griffin of Cedar Rapids, Travis Griffin (Bridgett) of Des Moines and Robyn Roll (Dustin) of Fairfield.

A memorial has been established for his granddaughters.
