It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Jeanette VanOsdol of Winfield, Iowa, born in Otley, Iowa, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elton Cade and Grace Aalbers Cade; her former life partner William Koger; her spouse Dean VanOsdol; her son-in-law John Strahn; and her grandson Todd Prignitz.

She is survived by : her daughters, Lana Strahn of North Liberty, Linda Kongable (Randy) of Winfield and Luann Cecil (Phil) of Knoxville, Illinois; and her stepson Randy VanOsdol (Shirley) of Belgrade, Montana. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
