He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Edwards and Marguerite Edwards (Kerr); his spouse Jacine; and his brothers, Leroy and Jesse.

He is survived by : his children, Kevin Edwards (Tammy) of Morning Sun, Kris Edwards of Winfield, Kelly Edwards of Morning Sun and Klay Edwards (Lesley) of Winfield; his grandchildren, Noah Edwards (Caitlin), Samantha McSorley (Andrew), Tyler Edwards (Brittany), Riley Edwards (Shanna), Mitchell Edwards (Kelsey), Grant Edwards (Mekenzie), Kayla, Abram, Jake and Max Edwards; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Elliott, Blakely, Camden, Keaton, Blaedon, Nicole, Dakota, Dalton, Reid and Maggie; and his sister Marge Sodemann of Rantoul, IL..

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun. A memorial has been established for the Big Red Pride Club in Paul's memory.

I worked for him as a member of his mechanic crew for many years, and never saw him create drama or cause for alarm. Mr. Edwards was always a voice of calm reason. His logical mind helped us to keep our factory running well, and his mentorship allowed us to carry on his lead and legacy after he retired. Blessings......”
