She was predeceased by : her parents, Bertha Casteel and Lloyd Casteel; and her husband John. She is survived by : her daughters, Angela Linden (Todd) and Cynthia Brezovan (Robert Applegate); her grandchildren, Katie Petermeier (JC), JD Goode (Sarah), Jim Goode (Kelcie Howard), Jacob Garcia and Emily Garcia; her great grandchildren, Alivia, Sawyer, Grayson and Kila; and her siblings, Delores Parvi, Carolyn Postlethwaite, Lois McLaren, Roger Casteel (Debb) and Janice Mustapha (Jack). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Suncrest Hospice in West Des Moines in Betty's name.
