He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert and Jeanette; his wife Mary "Claire" Smith; his sons, Lance Smith (Nicole Labos) and LJ Smith (Christine Dela Cruz); his siblings, Robert Frank, David Allen and Laurie Catherine Hawkins; his nephews, Austin Smith and Nelson Davis Acuff; and his niece Sarah Catherine Acuff. He was also cherished by relatives and friends.
