He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse "Doc" Ross Bailey and Maymie Pearl Bailey (Petersohn); his wife Connie Bailey (Callison); his siblings, Betty Eckhardt (Leland), Robert and Richard Bailey; his brother-in-law Donald Clark; and his pets, Sammie, Mindy, Jody and Blondie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Gregerson (Bill) of Indianola and Stacy Christiansen of Des Moines; his siblings, Bill Bailey (Marge) of Creston and Phyllis Clark of Afton; his sisters-in-law, Delores Bailey of Chapin and Shirley Bailey of Creston; his grandchildren, Bailey Dusenbery (Kohl) of Indianola and Brandon Gregerson (Lindsey) of Urbandale; his great grandchildren, Peyton and Kaycee Dusenbery; and his pet Bella.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (612 N Dodge St, Afton, IA 50830). A masonic service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
