He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Boothe and Iolas Boothe of Indianola, Iowa.; and his children, Andrew Scott Boothe and Darci Jane Kitchen. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Boothe of Winterset, Iowa; and his children, David M. Boothe (Crystal) of Norwalk, Iowa, Wesley Boothe (Gail) of Cape Coral, Florida and Amy McQuoid (Jon) of Winterset, Iowa.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273).
