John Reed Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Reed of Winterset, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Reed and Lorraine Reed (Silverthorn); his son John Thomas Reed Jr.; and his siblings, Dick Reed, Bobbie McNamara and Sandy Jacobs.
He is survived by : his wife Helen Loomis; his children, Teri Leeper (Mark) of Grimes, Shawn Scheeler of Winterset, Troy Reed of Antioch, CA and Susie Perkins (David) of Lake Barrington, IL; his grandchildren, Zach, Emy, Whitney, Andrew and Lily; and his great grandchildren, Maddox, Grady, Ryder, Oxton, Sadie and Olive.
