He was predeceased by : his parents, Ed Burk and Linda Burk (Graves); his father-in-law Rex Kelley; his brother-in-law Kim Kelley; and his cousin Michelle Sheets.
He is survived by : his former life partner Marilee Fairholm; his wife Tina Kelley of Winterset; his children, Paige Lange (Andrew) of Detroit, MI, Kaitlyn Orey (Andrew) of Des Moines, Kylee Burk of Waukee and Colton Toney (Mary) of Waukee; his siblings, Joe Duncan (Lori) of Omaha, NE, Sherry Egbert (Bob) of Osborn, MO and Jennifer Hoover (Ryan) of Ridgeway, MO; his grandchildren, Rex Dean Toney and Vivian Rose Orey; and his mother-in-law Louise Kelley of Davis City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be used to create a memorial fund with the Winterset Police Department in memory of Ken's service to the Winterset Community.
