He was predeceased by: his parents, Phil Huss and Phyllis Huss; and his brother Phil. He is survived by: his wife Linda of Winterset; his children, Michon Hubner (Sean) and Michael Huss Jr. (Lisa) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Michael, Danelle, Jake and David; his great grandchildren, Vera Jade, Zoey, Audry, Emma, Ava and Hannah; his stepchildren, Tracy Briley (Steve) of Newton and Chuck Joynes (Angela) of Des Moines; and his stepgrandchildren, Seth, Treven, Neva and Audrey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Foursquare Church (224 E Court Ave, Winterset, IA 50273). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
