He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Bernice Ritchhart (LaFavere) and Roland Ritchhart; and his son-in-law Russell Benjamin. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Ritchhart; his children, Mark Ritchhart (Lynn), Lisa Benjamin, Susan Duroe (David) and Steven Ritchhart (Alison); and his brothers, Dave Ritchhart (Pam) and Roger Ritchhart (Judy). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (815 S 2nd Ave, Winterset, IA 50273).
