He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Crews and Iola Cutice Crews (Trice); and his brother Roger Crews. He is survived by : his grandchildren, Slater, Breelie, Rocco and Lilyann; his wife Loni L. Crews of Winterset; his daughter Shanna D. Mauro of Martensdale; and his siblings, Yvonne Johnson (Ambrose) of Minneapolis, MN and De Lawrence (Winde) of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by numerous cousins, family members, and friends.

“It is not uncommon in this life to find people who show love. It is indeed rare and wonderful gift to find someone who is definition of love...and that family and friends is Paul D. Crews! We are blessed beyond simple words to have walked with this gentle spiritual man who was a gift from God...sent to us on earth for too short of time. Paul never claimed to be an Angel yet that seems to be what he was. He came back into our lives when needed most and for that we are eternally thankful.”
