He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Aloysius Hanrahan and Mary Louise Hanrahan (Brownrigg); his brother Jack; his in-laws, John and Margaret Walker; and his son-in-law Kenny Dolan.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Susan Hanrahan of Theresa's Catholic Church; his children, Daniel Patrick (Shannon Meyer), Kathryn Marie Eads (William), Rose Ann Hanrahan, Sarah Elizabeth Hayes (Weston) and Molly Susan Dolan; his grandchildren, Brayden Eads, Bowen, Easton Dickinson, Kiernan, Slate, Berkley Haye, Hailey and Raylan Dolan; and his sister Mary Alice Hanrahan-Compiano (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar St. Patrick's Irish Settlement Catholic Church (3396 155th St, Cumming, IA 50061). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a future designation.
