He is survived by: his wife Donna Bane; his sons, Justin Bane (Tamara) of Winterset and Colton Bane (Elizabeth) of Des Moines, Iowa; his stepchildren, Bryan Pfander of Des Moines, Iowa and Kerri Sargent (Jason) of Bedford, Iowa; his grandchildren, Tyler Sargent, Tage Kaldenberg (Emily), Jensen Kaldenberg, Camryn Pfander, Ty Bane, Brynlee Sargent, Stevie Pfander, Lane Pfander, Eli Bane and Ellieana Bane; his great grandchildren, Warren Kaldenberg, Athena Kaldenberg and Elliston Kaldenberg; his sister Theresa Fulton (Michael) of Tampa Bay, Florida; his siblings-in-law, Vickie Backhus of Centennial, Colorado, Dean Rowe (Sue) of Bedford, Jim Rowe (Julie) of Bedford and Roger Poore of Clarinda, Iowa; his uncle Winky Bodwell of La Belle, Missouri; and his aunts, Shirley Henry of Winterset and Betty Niblo Grandfield of St. Charles, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
