She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Hammar and Pauline Simons Hammar; her stepsons, Cole Millsap and Dustin Millsap; and her siblings, Jerry Hammar, Sandra Brown and Barbara Hammar.

She is survived by: her husband Keith Millsap; her children, Jeff Scheffers (Joyce) of Winterset, James Scheffers of Winterset and Shari Porter (Todd) of Peru; her stepsons, Reese Millsap of Winterset and Lance Millsap (Lindsey) of Mason City; and her sister Eloise Umbaugh of Scranton. She is also survived by her family, especially her 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
