She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest LaFlamme and Ann LaFlamme (Thompson); her husband Russel Ray Aikin; and her son Warren Russel. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Alan, Sheryl Ann (Ray), Glenn Ernest (Becky) and Todd Russel (Theresa); and her grandchildren, Russel, Brice (Stacy), Shana, Nicole, James, Carmen, Christopher (Lindsay), Gregory (Janett), Brian (Vanessa), Gabrielle and Savannah. She is also survived by her 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1026 N 8th Ave, Winterset, IA 50273). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset.
