He is survived by: his wife Alison Althaus of John's Catholic Church; his children, Travis Ohrt (Molly) of Winthrop, IA and Tabra Stelter (Todd) of Independence, IA; his grandchildren, Myah Ohrt, Sage Stelter, Stella Stelter, Sloan Stelter and Sutton Stelter; and his siblings, Clayton Ohrt of Independence, IA, Calvin Ohrt (Lou), Craig Ohrt (Susan) of Richmond, MO, Cleon Ohrt (Becky) of Quasqueton, IA and Connie Netherton (Gary) of Richmond, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
