He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wahlert and Winifred Wahlert (Burns); his brother William Wahlert; his sister-in-law Audrey Wahlert (Aupperle); his nephew Wes Wahlert; and his friend Rex Rathman.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Joni Bollinger (Bill), Marcy Blazek (Kevin) and Wylie Wahlert (Jean); and his great-nephews, Eric Wahlert (Celeste Borts), Spencer Wahlert (Jalynn Farmer), Michael Fleming (Autumn Crecelius), Kenneth Blazek and Joel Blazek.
