She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bakken and Eleanor Bakken (Clausen); her husbands, Floyd Field and Lyle Peterson; her parents-in-law, Carl, Freda Field, Clair and Marcella Peterson; and her siblings, Eldrin Bakken, Duane Bakken, Kenneth Bakken, Mavis Elwell (Richard), Leon Bakken, Marvel Kennedy, David LaPointe, Donald Anderson (Esther) and Richard Field.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Mechaelsen (Tim) of Kamrar, Brian Field of Smyrna, Georgia and Kim Hinkel (Mike) of Logan, Iowa; her grandsons, Nathan Mechaelsen (Maria), Tyler Hinkel (Amanda), Derek Mechaelsen (Melissa) and Kurtis Hinkel (Tammy); her great grandchildren, Maddox, Miles, Monroe Mechaelsen, Avery, Harper Hinkel, Rocco, Dax Mechaelsen, Haddie, Harrison and Henry Hinkel; her siblings, Jerry Bakken (Bonnie) of Northwood, Jeanette Anderson, Jeannine Bakken of Woodbury, Bonnie Lindner (Richard) of Loyal, Carolyn LaPointe of Marshfield and Steve Bakken of Mason City, Iowa; and her brothers-in-law, Don Peterson (Kay) and Brian Peterson (Kathy).
