He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leonard and Virginia Belle Kinzer (Hemmingsen). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kinzer of Woodbine; his children, Scott Kinzer (Leesa) of Denison, Steven Kinzer (Carol Ann) of Alpharetta, Georgia, Starr (Keith Herrington) of Omaha and Samuel Kinzer (Susan) of North Liberty, Iowa; his grandchildren, Paige Kinzer, Sydney (Barry Buehler), Bryce Herrington, Grant Herrington, Jack Kinzer, Nathan Kinzer and Maxwell Kinzer; his great grandchild Maisie; and his siblings, Lynette Davenport of Columbia and Craig Kinzer of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Woodbine Community of Christ or the Woodbine Fire and Rescue Department.
