We bid farewell to Ron Duncan (Woodbine, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Ron touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Duncan (Eilert) and Maurice Duncan; his wife Connie Hammitt; and his siblings, June Duke and Mike Duncan.
He is survived by: his friend Donna O'Neill; his sons, Wade Duncan (Sasha) and Matthew Duncan (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Eilert, Barrett, Isaac and Dylan Duncan; his sister Susan Helfert (Dave); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Duncan and Bill Hammitt (Rita). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fouts Funeral Home- Woodbine (501 Normal St, Woodbine, IA 51579). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Harris Grove Cemetery.
