Billie Jean Calonkey Obituary

We announce the death of Billie Jean Calonkey of Woodward, Iowa, who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 81. Billie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnie Sipe and Rosella Sipe (McClatchey); her husband Richard Calonkey Sr.; and her siblings, Thomas Sipe, Karen Royer and Michael Sipe.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Fitch (Scott) of Woodward and Richard Jr. Calonkey (Gina) of Woodward; her close friend Clayton Overton of Woodward; her grandchildren, Chris Ingram (Jounis) of Kansas City, Matt Ingram (Ashlee) of Omaha, Sam Calonkey (Sumi) of Japan, Cole Calonkey (Sophie) of Eldora and Leah Fitch of North Liberty; her great grandchildren, Eloise, Olivia Ingram of Omaha and Harvey Calonkey of Eldora; her sister Donna DeWitt (Ron) of Woodward; and her pets, Mollie and Millie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
