David L. Hostert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David L. Hostert of Worthington, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hostert and Irene Hostert (Burlage). He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Jo Zaksas (Joe) and Judy Dolan (Dan); and his nieces and nephews, Lora Sonberg (Shane), Kristy Williams (Brian), Steve Dolan and Joe Dolan.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Care Initiatives Hospice in Manchester, Iowa or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
