It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Wurst of Wyoming, Iowa, born in Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John "Ted" Bahnsen and Laura Bahnsen (Schumann); her husband John R. Wurst; and her siblings, Bernelta, Eva, Lafe and Jay.

She is survived by : her children, Lorie Dunne (Kevin) of Wyoming and Cliff Wurst (Sonia) of LaVerne; her grandchildren, Haley Carlson (John), Ryan Dunne (Kaylin), Chloe Edger (Scott) and Aubree Wurst; her great grandchildren, Grayson, Ella and Oakley; and her brother John Bahnsen (Judy) of Anamosa.
