It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darwin E. Betzer of Wyoming, Iowa, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza "Earl" Betzer and Delberta Betzer (Sutton); and his siblings-in-law, Barb Petersen, Robert Petersen Jr. and Steve Petersen.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Petersen; his daughter DeShawn Schmidt (Richard) of DeWitt; his granddaughter Chelsea Ehlers (Larry) of Lost Nation; his sister Joyce Smith (Jim) of Knoxville, Iowa; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin Smith (Monique), Kris Morse (Jeff), Kimberlee Pafford (Mike), Kelly Smith, Paula Petersen and Wayne Petersen.
