He is survived by: his wife Lisa Klein of Hale; his sons, Jason Klein (Laura Carlson) of Granger and Nick Klein of Denver, Colorado; his grandchildren, Madison and Stanley; his siblings, Cindy Rummel of Cedar Rapids, Penny Carrington (Jerry) of Ankeny, Steve Klein (Laurie) of Olin and Jay Markmann (Kim) of Hale; and his stepfather Carl Markmann of Hale.
