She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph George and Mary Ellen Smith Rice; her sons, Paul and Dewayne; and her siblings, Floyd, Donald, Mary and Minnie.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Gene Brown; her son James Brown (Pam) of Yarmouth; her grandchildren, Debra and Micheal; and her brothers, Ralph D. Rice of Milton and Bill Rice of Morning Sun.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elliott Funeral Chapel (1 Redbud Ln, New London, IA 52645). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Shinar Cumberland Cemetery (19705 185th St, Pleasant Grove, IA 52645).
