He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barker Poppleton and Myrtle Louise Fletcher Poppleton. He is survived by: his siblings, Clyde Poppleton, Louise Poppleton Stout, Thelma Poppleton Creager and Beverly Poppleton Bullen; his wife Deanna "Dee" Cannell; his children, Dee, David Poppleton of Hurricane, Utah, Daniel Poppleton (Kara) of Belgrade, Montana and Kerrine Poppleton of Paul; and his stepchildren, Tarima Davidson of Anacortes, Washington, Greg Cannell (Jan Banner) of American Falls and Darrin Cannell (Tracy) of Huntsville, Alabama.
