With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon Buchanan (American Falls, Idaho), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vernon Buchanan to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Buchanan and Phebe Buchanan; and his siblings, Phebe Brown, Patricia Maurer, Ralph, Gerald and Teddy Buchanan.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Hendricks; his children, Beth Kilcup (Jon), Amy Abadeer (Peter), Steve Buchanan (Lisa) and Laura Tysor (John); and his brothers, Ed Buchanan (Linda), Tim Buchanan (Mary) and Philip Buchanan (Joanna). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 1 great grandson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the following ministry: Bible Truth Publishers, 59 W Industrial Rd. Addison, IL. 60101.
