He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Gust and Barbara Gust. He is survived by : his wife Jil Green; his sons, Brandon and Devin; his daughter-in-law Roxanne; his grandchildren, Emma and Carson; and his sisters, Toni McKeel and Carla Nordlinder.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at the St. Francis of the Tetons Epsicopal Church (20 Alta School Rd, Alta, WY 83414). Before the pandemic and the beginnings of Zoom meetings, Rod hosted a Friday night phone call for the newly recovered.
