He was predeceased by: his parents, LaMar Barrus and Marilyn Barrus; and his brother Steven Barrus. He is survived by: his wife LaDell Barrus of Basalt, ID; his son John Paul Barrus (Rachele) of Ammon, ID; his stepchildren, Kristine Hill of Idaho Falls, Alise Moore of Basalt, ID and Daniel Fielding; and his siblings, Kanin Butler (Ron) of Shelley, ID, Nannett Pincock (Bert) of Rexburg, ID, Jeff Barrus (Rebecca) of Firth, ID and David Barrus (Tracy) of Firth, ID. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
