He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Dewey and Jennie Lucretia Turpin Rooks; his daughter Tavani Rooks; and his significant other Pat Parris. He is survived by: his daughter Robin; his son-in-law Dana Killian; his children, Terilee Jacobson (Richard) of Blackfoot, ID, Kevin LeGrande Rooks (Debi) of Bozeman, MT and Arlan Dax Rooks (JR) of Ventura, CA.; and his siblings, Oran Rooks (Shirley) of Hurricane, UT, Dee Juana Dalley (Stephen) of Rockford, ID, Dewane Rooks (Patty) of Ontario, OR, Marvalee Rooks of Idaho Falls, ID, Margene Callister of Thomas, ID and Lana Cersey (Wyane) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his 10 grandsons, and 14 great-grandchildren.
