Carol left this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Lewis VanOrden and Wilhelmina Steubesand VanOrden; her husband Charles Wesley Fields; her son Barry Smith; her daughter-in-law Leisa Cox Fields; and her grandchildren, Tiffani, Brady Marlow and Nicholas Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Lonny Smith (Patty) of Riverside, ID, Marty Smith (Maria) of Pocatello, Nancy Simmons of Rigby and Joanna Marlow of Blackfoot; and her stepchildren, Clark Fields of Blackfoot, Tony Fields (Robyn) and Terri Trost (Wade) of St. Anthony, Idaho. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
