Dixie Hastings Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Hastings in Blackfoot, Idaho, born in Pocatello, Idaho, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Henry Peterson and Mary Christina Bird Peterson; her husband George Richard Hastings; her children, John Hastings and Annette Falter; her half-brother Everett Peterson; and her siblings-in-law, Gloria McGregor, Pat Peterson, Jim Beers and James Hastings.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hastings of Blackfoot, Donna Barnes (Bob) of Rexburg, Lisa Goodwin (Mike) of Blackfoot, Debra Stuart of Blackfoot, Teresa Lee of Shelley and Charlene Grasser of Pocatello; her siblings, Carol Beers of Sandy, Betty Peterson of Pocatello and Robert Peterson (Pam) of Smithfield, Utah; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Bates (Mike) of Firth, Terry Hastings of Basalt and Gary Hastings (Linda) of Magna, Utah.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Along with her RA she found out she was in heart failure in April of 2022 due to having COVID, which took her from her family too early.
