Emery Amaya Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emery Amaya of Blackfoot, Idaho, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Amaya and Nora Lande Amaya; his former wives, Loma Allen and Mary Beck; his siblings, Ugene Amaya, Albert Amaya, Rubert Amaya and Francine Amaya; and his daughter Dayona Blackwell.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Amaya; his children, Sandy Kay (Tim) of Frazier Park, CA, Debbie Julian (Tom) of St. George, UT, Emery Amaya (Butch) of Visalia, CA, Tyler Amaya of Italy, Ross Collard of Chicago, IL, Dana Collard of Boise, ID, Kiki Morris (Pete) of Boise, ID, Theresa Bolyard (Mike) of Washington, Dee Abercrombie (Mike) of Idaho Falls, ID, Tunda Hay (Ron) of Wapello, ID, Richard Brien (Charlotte) of Boise, ID and Arthur Rugtvedt of Washington; and his siblings, Tom Amaya (Kathy) and Kathy Warne of Bozeman, MT. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
