He was predeceased by: his wife Memory Mattson; his parent Lorretta Starkweather; and his siblings, Fred Starkweather, Jim Mattson and Barbara Wise.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Mitcham (Larry) of Idaho Falls, ID, John Mattson (Tina) of Iona, ID, Denice Davis (Brad) of Idaho Falls and Rodney Mattson (Linda) of Blackfoot, ID; and his siblings-in-law, Marilynn and Marc Carroll. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
