Fred Higley Obituary
We announce the death of Fred Higley of Blackfoot, Idaho, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 82. Fred will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rulland Olsen Higley and Cleoma Maxine Curtis; and his sister Edna Mae "Eddie" Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Sally Heath Higley; his children, Cheri Sorenson (Dan) of West Haven, Scott Higley (Maggie) of Kuna, Chad Higley (Audrey) of Bozeman, Montana, Janalyn Brown (Brant) of Fairfield, Virginia and Susan Phillips of Blackfoot, Idaho; and his half-sister Janet Johnson (Phillip). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hawker Funeral Home (132 S Shilling Ave, Blackfoot, ID 83221). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
