He was predeceased by: his mothers, Lola Emmeline Freeman Gifford and Alma Gifford; his daughter Charolett Gifford; his brother Ricky Gifford; his brother-in-law Terry Herbst; and his granddaughter Ambria Romriell.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Gifford of Blackfoot; his children, Michael G. Gifford of Palmdale, CA, Shane M. Gifford (Kristie) of Blackfoot, ID, Amy Romriell (TJ) of Blackfoot, ID, Steven J. Gifford (Mindy) of Idaho Falls, ID and Bobby Quintero of Arizona; his siblings, Gerald Gifford (Emiko), Merlin Gifford (Bobette), Darlene Wenczel (Vic), Carol Herbst and Darwin Gifford (Julie); and his sister-in-law Anita Gifford. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gary Gifford burial fund at Hawker Funeral Home.
