He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nichols Barnard and Elizabeth Emma Allen Barnard; and his siblings, Emma Lavon, Phyllis Lavera Campbell, John Allen, Jesse Dee, Marjorie and Tecela Kay Price.
He is survived by: his sister Violet Rich; and his children, Nichols (Alayne) of Blackfoot, Idaho, Terrie Kunz (Jerry) of Cedron, Idaho, Cydney Ringel of Firth, Idaho and Shayne (Wendy) of Plain City, Utah. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson.
