He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence M. Thomas and Delpha Williams Thomas; and his siblings, Marjorie Thomas, Lawrence W. Thomas and Betty Louise Halverson.
He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Stott Thomas; and his children, John Thomas, Paulette Pierson (Kenneth) and Lee Ann Campbell (J. C.). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
