We announce the death of John Michael Genera (Blackfoot, Idaho), born in Pocatello, Idaho, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Helen Chacon and Thomas Genera; and his siblings, Tommy, PeeWee, James and Dave.
He is survived by: his wife Amelia Genera; his children, Tom Genera, Jay Genera, Teresa Rhodes, Josh Genera, Kimberly Genera, Chad Genera, Samuel Genera and Elizabeth Quezada; and his siblings, Carmen Maple, Cliff Lockhart, Emmett Lockhart and Richard Lockhart. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
