It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharol Whitaker (Blackfoot, Idaho), who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharol Whitaker to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Kathryn LeCheminant, Mike Park and Wayne Park. She is survived by: her daughter Lara Savage (Jon Beck); her siblings, Clint Park of Duchesne, UT, Max Park (Gayle) of Highland, UT and Annette Park Larson of Meridian, ID; and her grandchildren, Andria Turner, Ava Savage, Jada Beck and Ravyn Beck.

In lieu of flowers, flower bulbs for a memorial garden in honor of Sharol.

“I am sorry for your loss! I know that Sharol was a light and example to me. I remember Sharol looking for "service opportunities" for her then three year old granddaughter. I learned she was always looking for ways to serve others. She watched over an elderly widow in Idaho Falls, even after she moved to Blackfoot. Sharol was devoted to Family History and Temple work. She spent many hours seeking her ancestors and serving them. Sharol will be missed, but also welcomed with hugs in heaven!”
